another big interest of mine is retro computers. they just, facsinate me in their design language and, for lack of a better word, crudeness? more specifically, the ms-dos to win9x era has always been my favorite. the design language, the feel, the user experience, everything. its just all so cool. (bucket list item: a late-90s desktop running windows 98SE.)
the main thing i do online is create art, which i post mainly on twitter. i have always had an interest in art, but i never felt good about my artstyle until i drew this image back in may 2022. before that, most of my art was very basic, being drawn in paint.net with basic paintbrush use. now, i use a lot of techniques, including my signature brush, intentionally sloppy coloring, noise and overlayed filters. currently, i use the most recent version of photoshop to create my pieces, using a huion h610 pro as my drawing tablet. i'm really happy with how my art has evolved since then, though i haven't had much motivation to draw a lot as of late. this lands on my birthday, march 9, where i usually do something special for the day. in 2022, it was a large countdown on my discord server. in 2023, it was a variety of images released throughout the day at scheduled times. 2024's icd was the release of my song "bliss" with some art posted throughout the day again. 2025's icd was smaller, releasing a collection of demos ad a few images.
one of my favorite game franchises/genres of all time is the Guitar Hero/Rock Band series. i have been playing since i was very young, mostly on gh3, lrb, and rb3. ever since then, i have been very interested in the modern 5-fret community with all its clones and instruments. mainly, i play Rock Band 3 Deluxe now, but i have dabbled in games like Guitar Hero: World Tour: Definitive Edition, Fret Smasher, and YARG. my main guitar is a wiitar les paul with a RetroCultMods V3 adapter. i do wish to play drums soon enough (a bucket list item i want is an electronic drum set), but guitar is good for now. in the past, i have also made charts for songs like hollow moon (bad wolf) by awolnation; however, i do not stand by their quality today. eventually, i do want to get back into charting though.
music has been a big part of my life for a long time. i was basically born and raised on pop punk and later grew into my own little niche of listening. most now, i listen to the aformentioned pop punk, alt rock, grunge, nu-metal, and hyperpop.
some of my favorite bands are Green Day, Twenty One Pilots, AWOLNATION, Deftones, 100 gecs, Korn, Slipknot, Knocked Loose, etc.
